Establishing Raven Arts in 1989, Christian and AuraVaughn Raven, a husband & wife professional artist team, embarked upon their artistic collaboration. In the business of art for more than three decades, together now for more than fifteen years. We began selling through Fine Art Galleries around the country. As our art became more recognized and custom orders more in demand, we decided to launch our own web site and did so in 1999 under the web address of ThatRavenMagic.com By 2003, only four years later, our web site was well underway and international custom art sales had exploded. The RavenArts.com address came available and we added ShipModelMasters.com to our list of web addresses. We could no longer supply galleries with art for their shelves and so we stopped our gallery presence once all merchandise had been sold. We now offer custom art for sale direct to our customers without the retail gallery mark up. We reside on the beautifully inspirational Kitsap Peninsula of Western Washington State. Creating our custom art from within our extensive home workshop and ship it around the world. We have an excellent team of professional artists that are unsurpassed in their fields who contribute assistance as needed. Design direction from AuraVaughn combined with Christian's physics genius, keeps all those disciplines working together in harmony. Art is all we do and we do it with a true passion. Winners of numerous awards including an Emmy, an Addy, a Bronze Apple as well as many regional and state competition awards. We've created art that graces homes, offices and yachts across the world. We do not mass merchandise our creations. We offer custom mesmerizing works of art unlike any other. Our environmental consciousness is shown thorough our utilization of recycled materials whenever possible. Though requiring more work to return a product to its natural beauty, well worth it for the gratification of being able to turn something old into something new, useful and beautiful once again. Returning life to materials at every opportunity. We use only the finest materials; woods from around the world, metals of all types, acrylics, glass and more.
